tomato Basil Soup

2 Cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
3 oz tomato paste
4-6 leaves of fresh basil rolled and sliced
1-2 cloves garlic crushed and minced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
pinch of marjoram
salt and pepper to taste

Puree all ingredients in a food processor or blender. pour into a saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
